This solo exhibition is about change. The title of the exhibition comes from the poet Hsia Yu's "First Person" line "Elephants on the earth’s surface walk toward other elephants on the earth’s surface". You cannot know who this elephant is, where he is going, what he is looking for. Just as I don't plan to be explicit, I think the clues are in the four poems that have become the exhibition, my ongoing exhibition format.

He came from that place to this place
He is not about literal meaning
He is about crossing
He does not stop
The dice that keep spinning
We never know what the name means
We just keep looking for the surface symbols
I choose to write a poem of freedom

So, I became a writer in the destruction and reconstruction.
So beautiful, so bad, as if it were another face.
The elephant is not about sadness, but change.

A large group, a small group, a small group
No one is cutting anyone
No one will let anyone
Growing in the same petri dish

That day, it was just a part of a long shot.
But how many people are sad about it.
I don't want to talk about sadness anymore.
But I can always think of that day.
You say, how should we cross
All the how in life is about choice
But I'm just a spinning dice

這次展覽是關於改變。展覽標題來自於詩人夏宇「第一人稱」的一句「地表上一隻隻象走向地表上另一隻隻象」。你無法得知這隻象是誰，他將走向哪裡，他在尋找什麼。就如同我不計畫說明清楚，我想線索都在四首詩，這四首詩成為展覽，是我持續的展覽形式。

他不屬於文字上的意義
他關於跨越
他不停止地
一直旋轉的骰子
我們從來都不知道什麼才能代表名字
只是一直找尋表面的符號
我選擇寫一首自由的詩

於是，我成了一個在破壞與重建的書寫。
好美麗，好糟糕，好像又成為了另一張臉。
那隻大象並不是關於悲傷，而是改變。

一大團一小團小小一團
誰也不切割誰
誰也不讓誰
生長在同一個培養皿

那天，就只是長鏡頭中的一個部分。
可多少人為此悲傷，
本來不想要再談論悲傷。
可我總是能想到那天。
